ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံ ဆုိင္ရာ အေမရိကန္ သံအမတ္ႀကီး မစၥတာ ဒဲရစ္မစ္ခ်ဲလ္နဲ႔ဇနီးတုိ႔ဟာ လာမယ့္ သတင္းပတ္ သတင္းကြ်တ္ အခါသမယမွာ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ၀င္ အျဖစ္သုိ႔ ကူးေျပာင္းမွာ ျဖစ္တယ္လို႔ ရန္ကုန္ အေမရိကန္ သံရံုး ေဖ့စ္ဘုတ္ စာမ်က္ႏွာမွာ မၾကာေသးခင္ နာရီပုိင္းကပဲေဖာ္ျပသြားပါတယ္။

သူ႔ဇနီးျဖစ္သူကလည္း ဗုဒၶဘာသာကို နက္နက္ရႈိင္းရႈိင္း စိတ္၀င္စားေၾကာင္း၊ သူကိုယ္တုိင္လည္း ဗုဒၶ ဘာသာ၀င္ ကိစၥကို အခ်ိန္ေတာ္ေတာ္ၾကာ ေလ့လာထားေၾကာင္း၊ ဥာဏ္ခႏၶာ ဆုိင္ရာ ဗုဒၵရဲ႕ သင္ၾကားမႈ ေတြကို သူ႔အေနနဲ႔ အလြန္ၾကည္ညိဳေၾကာင္းေတြလည္း ေျပာဆုိထားပါတယ္။

“I am proud of my religious heritage, having come from a Jewish family going back many generations,” he told Embassy employees. 

“At the same time, my wife has tremendous interest in Buddhism, and I myself have spent much time studying Buddhist tenets. I have nothing but the greatest respect and admiration for the wisdom embodied in its teachings -- as I do for all the traditions and religions in this wonderfully diverse country.”
